Made in partnership with Tacoma artist/producer Peter Berkley this narrative driven piece was made to celebrate the Spring 2018 graduates as well as create brand awareness for the institution. This piece aired in over 500 local movie theaters in the south sound area as well as appearing on local cable.

Made in conjunction with the City of Tacoma Board of Tourism caimpaign South Sound Proud, this video highlights the unique aspects of Pacific Lutheran University and how it fits into the landscape of the South Puget Sound.

Made in partnership with Pacific Lutheran University’s office of admissions, this piece was made to inform prospective students about all the different climates and locations that are within an hour’s drive in the PNW.

PLU Professor of Biology Mike Behrens shares some of his philosophies on life as he describes his partnership with Puget Sound conservation group, Harbor Wild Watch.

A surprise visit from renowned astrophysicist Neil deGrasse Tyson lead to the creation of this piece. With only a few minutes notice from the public relations department I was able to produce this piece thanks to Mr. Tyson’s generosity with his time.

Made in partnership with Pacific Lutheran University’s department of admissions, this promotional piece was created to give new students a sense of the culture on campus as ell as the physical look and feel.

Produced in response to a call from Michelle Obama’s "Reach Higher” initiative, this promotional video follows PLU junior Jonathan Adams as he returns to his alma mater high school to host three seniors as they prepare for a college visit and possibly a decision.

As part of the Resolute magazine food issue, I was assigned to produce five videos on alumnus living in the Portland area as well as Eastern Washington. This video highlights Fried Egg I’m In Love, a popular music-themed food truck that has become a Portland staple.

Made with Powers Creative, this piece was done pro-bono for a new up and coming coffee shop that opened in downtown Tacoma in a nontraditional space, as part of a revitalization effort.

As part of the cover story of the Winter 2018 issue of the online magazine Resolute, this video highlights the two study away program located in the cities of Bjorknes and Bo in Norway.

Made in conjunction with the International Student Services department at Pacific Lutheran University, this video informs international students about the resources PLU provides as well as what to expect living and working on a campus in the PNW.

As part of cover story for the fall 2017 issue of the magazine Resolute, this video focuses on one of the graduates of Pacific Lutheran University’s inaugural class of doctorates of Nursing Practice (DNP) Molly Matin. The recent graduate is leveraging her advanced degree to move into a more administrative role in the health care field, while still being able to help patients first-hand.

Video showcasing Pacific Lutheran University’s international study away program in Chengdu, China. Filmed on location across china in the summer of 2015. the video highlights the study tour the students participate prior to the start of their semester in Chengdu.

As part of the “Summer of Science” feature for the Fall 2017 issue of Resolute magazine, I was commissioned to do a feature on five different faculty led undergraduate research projects. This video focuses on geosciences professor Tarka Wilcox and his student researchers as they utilize aerial imaging to get a better understanding on how landslides occur over time and how to mitigate the damages they cause.

This video was made in conjunction with Pacific Lutheran University’s online teaching initiative. The video was made to increase awareness about the program, focusing on the flexibility and ease of scheduling for the courses.

As part of the cover story of the Winter 2017 issue of Resolute magazine, this video highlights the study away program in Trinidad and Tobago. Filmed on location in Tuna Puna and Port of Spain, Trinidad over the a week in early 2017.

A Pacific Lutheran University marketing campaign that asked PLU community members to discuss the meaning of diversity, actively promote social change and help students from all backgrounds feel like they belong.

The Listen campaign included radio, television and billboard advertisements, as well as a website that features a video series of 16 students, faculty, staff and alumni. In the videos, PLU community members discuss how to help people from all backgrounds feel welcome at the college and engage in critical conversations about “oppressive structures, policies and cultural norms that impede positive learning outcomes.”

Produced in cooperation with the Pacific Lutheran School of Arts and Communication, this video highlights a PLU scored and produced Chinese style-opera performance.

This story was brought to me by the Pacific Lutheran University’s office of advancement department as part of a campaign to encourage recent grads to share their stories as well as bring brand awareness to the university. The video acted as a companion piece to a print article in Winter of 2016 issue of Resolute.
